The first inter-county Pickleball event

Each county squad had 32 players and the competition was organised into four age related brackets. Games were timed and everybody played four games of gender doubles and four games of mixed doubles, so there were 128 games in total. 2024 English Open
From PickleballEngland:
Last year PickleBall England had 490 registrations from 24 countries we needed to plan for a bigger venue. There was no-where that was ideal. So we looked beyond badminton and tennis courts and started looking at exhibition spaces. We settled on Telford International Centre and we are really excited about the blank canvas and facilities that it offers.
Telford is in central England. Easily accessible from London Heathrow or Birmingham & Manchester Airports with great transport links. Telford has lots of accommodation options right on its doorstep as well as restaurants and shops for your downtime.
40 pickleball courts will be installed at Telford by Pickleball United
We are delighted to have Pickleball United’s True Court be the Official Court Provider of the English OPEN.
Pickleball United is the leading manufacturer of top-of-the-line pickleball products, and its flagship “True Court” helped bring America’s fastest-growing sport to the next level. Pickleball United are already providing courts for the APP, the recent Pickleball Slam, MLP and the temporary courts for New York Central Park’s Wollman ice rink.
